Here are some of my favorite tools for Firefox that have helped me in affiliate marketing and making sites. If you do not have Firefox yet, we recommend downloading it here, and installing each of these extensions to help you when you make your sites:

FireFtp - FTP program, very useful for connecting to your web server

Web Developer - various tools that will help you view all images on a page and their dimensions, or view your cookies set on a page, or help you to quickly view the source code of a page.

InfoRSS - I use this to display all my RSS feeds from my own sites to monitor comments so they scroll at the bottom of the Firefox screen while I am working.

Html Validator - useful to help you validate your sites when you are creating them to make sure more browsers will be able to view your sites properly.

McAfee Site Advisor - useful to help find “good neighborhoods” to help you find good partners to link to or get links from.

Google Toolbar - useful for monitoring page rank of various sites as you surf.

ColorZilla - useful for picking out a specific color and getting the hex code easily.

IE Tab - quickly view your site in IE with this tab to make sure it looks good in both browsers.

I really wish there was an extension that let me download images and automatically name them the size of the image. Oh well…waiting for that one!
