I stumbled upon an article by Raj Dash of Performancing.com.  The article is called PR10 Sites - They Do Exist.  Now I know everyone is obsessed with their Google PR and it is useful in determining a few ranking factors for SEO- but what caught my eye about the article was down at the bottom he mentioned: “Generally speaking, don’t get too obsessed about the PR of your sites except for ad networks that use it to measure what you’ll get paid for ads.”

WHAT?!

I actually respect the quality of articles on that site, but that’s just wrong.  No Ad Network, including Firelead - EVER bases payouts on Google PR.  Thats just silly.  And if you are working with an affiliate marketing network like that - they are really in the dark.

Payouts are given based on performance.  Nothing more, nothing less.
